DESCRIPTION:This event will be held in person and virtually so people with disabilities, family members, and others can participate regardless of where they live in the state. The more people that participate, the more we can advocate for what’s important to us and show the legislature that “WE are the People.”\nDisability Rights Legislative Day will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. A rally will take place from 11 a.m. to noon and will feature an impressive lineup of speakers, including various legislators, and some powerful disability advocates (check out drld.org for an updated list as we confirm speakers). After the rally, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., in-person participants can meet with their legislators.
