As featured in the 2020 PCS Annual Report
Sarah Scott, Quality Support Coordinator at PCS, participated in the 2020 United Way Leadership St. Joseph program. Leadership St. Joseph is a year-long leadership development program for adults who live or work in the St. Joseph area. This program is designed to help participants identify and maximize their leadership styles and increase knowledge of the issues, needs and services available in our community.
This year, Sarah was involved in a group that focused on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). The group created an infographic and worked with other organizations and volunteers to assemble materials distributed to students to counter the effects of difficulties in a way that promotes health and well-being as well as build resilience and coping skills.
