Building Buchanan County and beyond...
Tax Levy & Funding

Progressive Community Services was established in 1979 with the passage of Senate Bill 40.  This legislation allows counties to provide community-based programs and supports for people with developmental disabilities.

Applications for funding are accepted every September for the next calendar year.  Interested programs that meet requirements of RSMo. §§ 205.968, should contact Rodney Potter, Assistant Executive Director of Administration, for more information.  The Progressive Community Services Board of Directors may, in its discretion, deny or limit funding based upon fund availability, community needs and/or lack of compliance with funding applications, contracts or RSMo. §§ 205.968.
