SUPPORT COORDINATOR position now available at Progressive Community Services.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), working Monday – Friday in and out of the office primarily from 8 am to 5 pm.
Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university OR a Registered Nurse license. Candidates must also have a current driver’s license and dependable transportation. Experience working with disabled persons preferred.
The Support Coordinator works with persons who have developmental and/or intellectual disabilities and their supports in order to improve their quality of life through planning, advocating, connecting them with resources and services as well as monitoring their services in order to promote independence.
Strict deadlines and adherence to local, state, and federal regulations required. Life Course knowledge is a plus.
Progressive Community Services offers full benefits, paid time off, paid volunteer time, paid holidays, and flexibility. Starting wage is $18.00 per hour.

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree or Registered Nurse License as well as meet the additional following qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Live in St. Joseph, MO or the surrounding area and able to commute daily to St. Joseph. If not living in the area you must be willing to relocate at your own expense.
